Maggie Downing is the Storyteller Manager for abortion campaigns at the The Hub Project where she supports the team’s work to share real stories demonstrating the consequences of attacks on our reproductive rights.
Prior to joining the Hub, Maggie worked in strategic communications at Bully Pulpit Interactive where she crafted integrated public affairs and social impact campaigns. Some of her proudest work includes supporting efforts to increase COVID-19 vaccine equity among vulnerable communities and partnering with New Belgium Brewing’s on their climate activism. Maggie is a native of Buffalo, New York and also has roots in Baltimore, Maryland.
She attended Georgetown University where she majored in Government and Anthropology. Outside of work, Maggie loves going to concerts at DC’s amazing music venues, hanging with her cat Olive, and collaging.
