Stasha M. Rhodes is a Campaign Director at The Hub Project, where she develops and manages large scale advocacy campaigns that shift the conversation around top progressive policies.
Prior to joining The Hub Project, Stasha was Director of Engagement at Giffords, a leading organization in the growing movement to save lives from gun violence. As Director of Engagement, Rhodes developed and carried out national, state and local strategies and campaigns.
Previously, she was the Director of Advocacy for guns and crime policy at the Center for American Progress. At CAP, Stasha facilitated a nationwide coalition of over 200 national and state gun violence prevention and allied organizations to develop more strategic and coordinated policy, political, and organizing agendas.
Prior to that, in Louisiana, she served as the founder and principal of The Red Team, LLC, an advocacy firm specializing in issue-campaign management, grassroots organizing and government affairs. She also has served as the American Heart Association’s Louisiana director of government affairs.
She is a graduate of Southern University and A&M College and Southern University Law Center. She currently lives in Washington, D.C. with her wife and three kids.
