PAID MEDIA ASSOCIATE

Reports to: Director, Paid Media

Position Summary
The Paid Media Associate will work with The Hub’s paid media team and the Digital and Campaigns departments to develop innovative, strategic, and effective paid media programs on a range of progressive issues. In this role, you will help craft paid content, work with the digital content and creative teams to integrate our paid and organic social media efforts, use analytics tools to optimize our paid programs, and coordinate with media vendors. We’re a fast-moving place that’s always ready to jump into the next fight, so the right person for the job is not afraid of taking on new opportunities to move people to action and quickly responding to an ever-changing news cycle, while keeping all the pieces organized.

As Paid Media Associate, you’ll:
● Work with the rest of The Hub’s digital and campaigns teams and external partners to design and execute successful paid media campaigns across multiple platforms; including, quickly mobilizing around rapid-response moments
● Coordinate with internal teams and paid media vendors, including TV, direct mail, digital, and on-the-ground organizers, to track and manage creative approvals processes for multi-million dollar paid campaigns
● Work with The Hub’s digital team and vendors to design and launch digital advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook and Google
● Cover live events on social media, including live tweeting, live streaming, and gathering and sharing stories from speakers and members of the audience during organizing moments
● Manage Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and other social media accounts for partners and internally-run campaigns; including, deploying content on those channels
● Keep a pulse on the latest trends and best practices for paid media and find innovative ways to integrate them into our campaign
● Analyze and track paid media performance and create reports for a variety of stakeholders
● Perform other duties as assigned

About you:
● You have experience developing content for and managing social media accounts
● You have experience managing projects with many stakeholders, and are able to collect and organize feedback
● Familiarity with paid media platforms, like Facebook or Google preferred, but not required
● You thrive working on projects with countless moving pieces, decision makers, and deadlines
● You’re flexible, organized, and live for the details
● You’re passionate about following the latest digital trends, tracking online campaign performance, and using your analytical brain to make content perform better
● You’ve got a sense of humor and are comfortable taking on evolving responsibilities
● You’re comfortable working on tight deadlines and balancing multiple projects
● You’re willing to mobilize digital assets in rapid-response moments
