Lauren Santa Cruz is the Associate Director of Team Creative at The Hub and is responsible for leading visual content production for campaigns teams and partner organizations.

Prior to joining The Hub, Lauren was the lead field and international producer/editor for Fusion TV’s flagship show “America with Jorge Ramos.” Lauren was nominated for an NAHJ award in TV/Online Journalism alongside anchorman Jorge Ramos for their story, “Watch Jorge Ramos Swim Across the Rio Grande” where together they swam from the United States to Mexico. Lauren started her career field producing and shooting video for organizations such as TIME magazine, Special Olympics, the Knight Foundation for International Journalism and first dipped her toes into non-profit advocacy work at the Center For American Progress.

Originally from Miami via Bogota, Colombia, Lauren graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s in photography and psychology, and she subsequently earned her master’s degree in multimedia journalism. She suffers from a constant state of wanderlust and can usually be found at the departure terminal of your closest international airport.
