Lauren Santa Cruz is Creative Producer at The Hub and is responsible for crafting all visual content for internal campaigns teams and partner organizations.

Prior to joining The Hub, Lauren was the lead field and international producer/editor for Fusion TV’s flagship show “America with Jorge Ramos.” Lauren was nominated for an NAHJ award in TV/Online Journalism alongside anchorman Jorge Ramos for their story, “Watch Jorge Ramos Swim Across the Rio Grande” where together they swam from the United States to Mexico. Lauren started her career field producing and shooting video for organizations such as TIME magazine, Special Olympics, the Knight Foundation for International Journalism and first dipped her toes into non-profit advocacy work at the Center For American Progress. Her work has appeared on shows such as “Meet the Press,” “PBS,” “World News,” “AC 360,” “Rachel Maddow,” and many more.

Originally from Miami via Bogota, Colombia, Lauren graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s in photography and psychology, and she subsequently received her master’s degree in multimedia journalism. She suffers from a constant state of wanderlust and can usually be found at the departure terminal of your closest international airport.
