Laura Hatalsky is the Managing Director, Policy & Research for the Hub Project.

Hatalsky has spent her career working on the intersection of policy and politics across an array of issues.  Hatalsky served as Senator Catherine Cortez Masto’s (D-NV) first Deputy Chief of Staff in the United States Senate.  Before this role, Hatalsky was the Policy Director at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) for the 2016 election cycle under Chairman Jon Tester.  Previously, in the United States Senate, Laura served as an economic policy advisor for the Democratic Policy and Communications Center under the leadership of Senators Charles Schumer and Harry Reid.  Earlier in her career, she served as a policy advisor to Congressman Mike Honda, Senator Ron Wyden, and Congressman Anthony Weiner in the United States Congress.  Laura received a Master’s degree from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University.
