Dan Crawford handles national press outreach and helps direct campaign communications at the Hub. 

Dan has worked at the intersection of politics and policy communications for more than a decade. He comes to the Hub from the Economic Policy Institute, where he worked to promote policies that would strengthen the economic conditions of working and middle class Americans, through traditional and digital media outreach. Dan is a veteran of President Obama’s 2008 and 2012 campaigns and served in the Obama administration as a communications assistant at the Small Business Administration. He graduated from Cornell University with a double major in government and theater arts.

Dan has lived in DC for as long as he’s lived anywhere, and currently resides in Park View. He is an avid bike commuter and occasional road cyclist, and recently entered the world of competitive powerlifting.
