Associate Director, “Groundwork Collaborative”

The Hub Project is about to launch and incubate a new, ongoing undertaking that will focus on advancing a coherent economic worldview within the broader progressive movement. This project, tentatively titled the “Groundwork Collaborative,” will work with partners from across the movement to weave a through line among efforts and policy ideas that too often seem disparate. We will bring together leading thinkers, leaders, grasstops activists, on-the-ground organizers, and other influential progressives from across the movement to advance a shared understanding of how the economy works and lay the ground work for arguments in favor of better policies that create inclusive, durable prosperity, opportunity and security.
We’re looking for an Associate Director to help craft the Groundwork Collaborative and lead some our key initial projects. One of these initial projects that you’ll lead will be to build and maintain a diverse network of policy experts, thinkers and influencers from across the progressive movement. Progressives don’t lack for good ideas or for thoughtful, incisive analysis. But sometimes, we would all do well to have a more structured way for these ideas and analyses to be discussed, disseminated and amplified. This new squad which you will lead will aim to do that. Launched in 2016, The Hub Project is made up of a growing team of communicators, researchers, and organizers with experience in campaign strategy, digital, and polling and analytics.
